White House releases Bush's military payroll records

All this does is show that Bush got paid - something that was in little doubt anyway. What is doesn't show, and what they admit to, is *where* Bush served and in what capacity. Right now, it looks like he got a sweetheart deal and spent most of his "military service" working in politics instead of working the Guard.

It may qualify him to be a politico, but it doesn't give him some sort of special credential to be Commander in Chief.
