GOP terrorism ad sparks Democratic furor:
"'Once again we see that the GOP will truly do and say anything regardless of whether or not it's true, they are so desperate to hold onto power,' Democratic National Committee Communications Director Karen Finney said in a statement. 'Clearly Republicans are so afraid of their abysmal record they can't offer one example of what they've done to keep America safe.'"

This is one truly over the top ad. If the stakes are this high, what have we been doing for the past 6 years? Has nothing the GOP'ers done worked? Has everything been such a dismal failure that we are still in this sort of danger? Wasn't all this anti-terrorism "stuff" supposed to make us safer? Apparently not, because the GOP still is warning us of how close we are to nucular annihilation.
