Bill O'Reilly blames the victims:
"Many, many, many of the poor in New Orleans are in that condition. They weren't going to leave no matter what you did. They were drug-addicted. They weren't going to get turned off from their source. They were thugs, whatever."
This link has the audio clip - there's no denying what he said. He's trying to cover up for the Feds, claiming that there was nothing, no how, that would have made these people leave. As if being drug addicted was a reason to abandon them.
The fact is, these people couldn't leave. Their problem wasn't drugs, it was poverty. No one thought ahead, the system failed. In spite of the warnings, the Bush Administration did nothing. Pathetic.

Long ago, I figured out the mathematical basis of the O'Reilly Factor (O'RF), viz:
O'RF = lim(1/n), n = 1, 2, 3, ...
In other words, as n approaches infinity, the O'RF gets very, very, *very* close to zero ... !
